Rebecca Angel is painting her kitchen with help from her friend Jenn and her mom. This is momentous since this GeekMom has never done decorating housey things in her life. She has found out that it's not hard! And kinda fun!Chaos Mandy is dreaming of Dragon*Con. With the biggest con of the year (for her anyway) just about a month away, there is lots to do, such as finishing a certain Layer Cake costume. It is the 25th year of Dragon*Con so it should be a blast!Sophie had a great time cosplaying as Dana Scully at the MCM Expo last weekend but seems to have picked up a worrying new addiction to trading cards. This has in turn led to an invitation to a local Magic the Gathering group, the acceptance of which she fears could be detrimental to her long term financial health. She is also looking forward to meeting many Doctor Who fans at a fan gathering in London this weekend, followed by taking her mother to the Doctor Who Experience.

Sarah is hoping that the end of week 11 will bring the end of the morning sickness so that life may resume some normality. Grateful for an extra large paddling pool, she hopes to sink her teeth back into Madame Bovary this weekend before moving on to What To Expect When Carrying a Parasite.

Jenny Williams is relieved and excited to be home from her 40 day road trip around the country with her kids (and sometimes her husband), though she had a lot of fun and learned many things along the way. You can read about the entire trip on her blog, Around the Country in 40 Days.

Laura has been drinking way too much coffee and getting way too little sleep. Maybe that's why she's ranting about life as a quest.
