It wasn't just the secret surveillance acts, or the scientists with near-limitless power, or the flying robots armed with stun guns that fried our circuits. Nor was it the disintegrating ships, or the commando raids, or the molecules shifting in our shirts. It was the unnerving notion that our weapons were now in the wrong hands – from Somalia to Mexico to Burning Man.
So keep your sensors on, your defenses up, and your eyes on the sky. Assemble your forces. Next week is going to be even tougher.
