Ticking time-bomb tattoos get their closeup in the new preview of futuristic fascism as imagined by writer-director Andrew Niccol in upcoming sci-fi flick In Time.
In the movie, each citizen has a time clock embedded in their arm. After age 25, poor people only have one more year left to live unless they can afford to buy credits from wealthy time hogs. The premise gets spelled out with a dramatic punchline in the new trailer when a guy who looks like he's 30 tells his true age to the movie's renegade hero (played by Justin Timberlake) .
Shot digitally by five-time Oscar-nominee cinematographer Roger Deakins, the film co-stars Amanda Seyfried, Olivia Wilde and Cillian Murphy. In Time opens Oct. 27.
