We've previously talked about Game of Thrones here on GeekDad, and now we've come across an interesting video that shows just how impressive the green-screen and CGI work is for the show:
The realism of the effects in the video above are nothing short of jaw-dropping, mind-blowing, eye-popping, or any other superlative metaphor you'd care to use. Considering Avatar, The Lord of the Rings, X-Men, and all the other recent CGI-rich Hollywood releases, there really is nothing that cannot be done in a movie anymore.
So, now that anything is possible, what's left? What have you always wanted to see in a movie, GeekDad readers? Personally, I'm hoping that David Hayter's screenplay for Dragonflight, the first book of the Dragonriders of Pern series, gets picked up soon.
