New video from The Avengers shoot captures Captain America and Thor in action as Joss Whedon filmed the superheroes on location in Cleveland.
The clip above, filmed Friday by a local TV station, shows the superheroes going through the motions as they plan out a battle scene. Then Captain America (played by Chris Evans) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) mete out street justice to five villains dressed in motion-capture suits.
Not seen in the clip: Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man. He’s expected to appear in Anaheim, California, this weekend at Walt Disney’s three-day hype-a-palooza D23 Expo. Insiders believe Disney-owned Marvel Studios maintained a low profile at Comic-Con International this year in order to save Avengers preview material for the big D23 shindig.
Elsewhere online, photos taken during the Cleveland filming seem to show a crashed Skrull spaceship.
