With all this talk of Google+, and people complaining or loving Facebook, I would like to direct your attention to another kind of social network. A network for Steampunk. Large, vast empires of social media are all well and good, but sometimes it's nice to hang out in a cyber space community with people just like you ("you" meaning "eccentric individual into the color brown, gadgets, gears, corsets, brass goggles, tea...lots and lots of tea.")
The Steampunk Empire is just such a place to share photos of you in a top hat, watch videos of making costumes, live chat about your favorite pocket watch, forums with topics from food to shopping tips, event postings, group gatherings and more.
The layout is easy to navigate and pleasin' to the eye. I recommend it.
