Finally, a good use for all of those bedroom/basement covers of Radiohead songs people post online.
The clip above is a remix of Radiohead's "Paranoid Android," crowdsourced from YouTube videos of people playing the song – 36 of them to be exact. What's amazing isn't that someone attempted to create this; it's that it actually sounds pretty stellar.
It's also impressive to see the diversity of people playing the track. The musicians hail from everywhere from Australia to Italy to the United States. Also, that kid in the bear suit who can totally shred.
In other Radiohead news, the actual band released a live version of a track called "Staircase" via Nigel Godrich's From the Basement. The video is below. The band performed its latest album, The King of Limbs, for the Basement program, which the show's site claimed would be airing internationally soon.
