Japanese app publisher DeNA will bring Professor Layton and Infinity Blade to the social games sphere this year.

DeNA said on Tuesday that it would team with publisher Level-5 to produce Professor Layton Royale, a social game series for smartphones starring the cartoon detective whose Nintendo DS games have been best-sellers.

Wednesday morning, it followed this news up with word that it would create Infinity Blade X, a social game based around Epic Games' popular iOS action game.

You may not have heard of DeNA, but its social games like Kaito Royale have well over 10 million users in Japan alone.

The best part for you is that DeNA plans to release the Layton game around the world after its Japanese release this fall, although Infinity Blade X is currently Japan-only.
