When 25-year-old Chinese office wonk Wang Kang showed up for a day at the office dressed in full Iron Man regalia, he scared the hell out of some co-workers -- and then they started giggling. In the video above, Kang can be seen making his grand entrance at the Shanghai telecommunications company where he works.
Inspired by Robert Downey Jr.'s 2008 movie, Kang spent three months constructing the Iron Man Mark 1 replica outfit from EVA foam that he glued onto an aluminum frame. According to The Daily Mail, Kang's suit, embedded with wires, pipes and circuits, cost about $450.
"No colleagues knew my mission, and some of them froze there in seeing me approach," Kang told the U.K. paper. "Some were even screaming for being scared."
