This week's Friday Field Photo may not show a lot of exposed geology but it does show a view I'm going to miss very much. This is a view of the coastal ranges in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. This mix of sun and refreshing fog with forested hillsides and bits of Franciscan Complex poking out is one of the images I see in my head when I think of California.
