For those anticipating the arrival of their first expansion pack, Mother's Day is a holiday loaded with expectation; your baby is growing inside you and you are growing into a mother. Two years ago that was me. I was 5 months pregnant, we knew that we were having a Tobias not an Eowyn, and yet I was not yet ready to celebrate Mother's Day for myself. Last year when I got to celebrate with Toby it was the wonderful icing on the cake that I had hoped it would be.
When I was five months pregnant and Mother's Day rolled around I was told by my green-thumbed Doctor that Toby was now the size of a large heirloom Tomato. That was the sound of a tumbleweed you heard rolling through my mind. Not being one of nature's natural gardeners, or vegetable eaters, I found it hard to relate to the piece of fruit I was germinating; so, with the hjelp of a like-minded husband, I have come up with my own list...
