The park that's soon to be the world's largest Legoland has just announced its opening date, October 15.
The 150-acre park is geared toward families with kids age 2 to 12 and features roller coasters, shows and other attractions -- 50 in all. Tickets are now on sale on the park's web site, along with airline and rental car booking and packages with 13 hotels that are endorsed by the park's "Bed and Brick" seal of approval.
The park, which is 45 minutes from Orlando, is located in Winter Haven, halfway between the Disney, Universal and SeaWorld parks and Busch Gardens in Tampa.
