Gamers captured 3 million copies of Pokémon Black and White during the games' first two weeks on sale in Europe and the U.S., Nintendo said Monday.
Those are undoubtedly impressive numbers, but Nintendo sold almost as many during the games' first two days on sale in Japan. As of January, the two games had hit five million in domestic sales.
The pair of new Pokémon games were critically acclaimed; Wired.com's John Mix Meyer called them "the best games in the series." Meyer also noted that we'll probably say the same thing about the next ones, which will also likely sell in the millions. Good old Pokémon.
