Trailer: Ra.One Teases Badass Bollywood Sci-Fi

India’s Tom Cruise equivalent Shabruk Khan shows off some high-flying moves in this trailer for Bollywood sci-fi flick Ra.One. As superpowered G.One, Khan, who also produced the picture, borrows a few moves from Spider-Man as he drops off buildings and swoops onto moving cars.

Filmed partially in London by director Anubhav Sinha, Ra.One is one of several sci-fi action spectacles drawing on India’s thriving CGI industry. The film joins Endhiran: The Robot, which screened last month in Austin, Texas, in the quest for crossover appeal.

Ra.One, which stands for “random access – version 1,” is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment.
