As seen in their “Spaceship Takes Jarrod and Elaine” clip embedded above, the filmmakers followed what has now become standard blockbuster practice to choreograph exactly how their Skyline action sequences would play out by creating low-resolution computer animations before filming began.
The clip is one of a bundle of featurettes included in the Skyline DVD ($30) and Blu-ray ($40) editions, which arrive Tuesday.
