Director and sci-fi fanatic Duncan Jones, whose feature debut Moon made him an instant fan favorite, is the second filmmaker to be honored in the Director's Series poster line by collectible art house Mondo.

A pair of new posters by artist Olly Moss salute Moon and Source Code, Jones' upcoming movie.

"I've been a huge fan of Mr. Moss since I first saw his mock game manual for Half Life what feels like an age ago," Jones said in a press release from Mondo, the art boutique run by the Alamo Drafthouse cinema chain in Austin, Texas. "I've been desperate to own one of his pieces ever since. Getting that piece to be based on my films is even better!"

Both posters measure 16 inches by 24 inches and will sell for $35. Source Code will be a limited edition of 200; Moon will be a run of 250. Follow @MondoNews on Twitter for the sale date announcement.

See below for the Source Code poster as well as a close-up of the man in the Moon poster above -- actor Sam Rockwell, who played the lonely lunar miner in Jones' well-crafted first film.

Jones is the second director to be honored in Mondo's Director's series, following horror and fantasy great Guillermo Del Toro.

Jones' second film, Source Code, stars Jake Gyllenhaal as a slip-streaming soldier trying to stop a terrorist attack. It makes its world premiere March 11 at the South by Southwest film festival in Austin and opens wide April 1.
