"Wind and Mr. Ug " is a shining example of education by stealth. It makes Möbius stripseasy to understand and fun to play with, and I think it grants even very young children access to very grown-up concepts. You know, 'hard' stuff like Euclidean space and chirality, but also the practical applications of Möbius strips, like long-lasting conveyor belts and the ribbons on Olympic medals. I strongly recommend exploring the end of "Wind and Mr. Ug" in the real world with your kids. What happens if you cut a Möbius strip down the middle? What if you cut closer to the edge?
