LAS VEGAS — Courtesy G4, here’s the video of my talk with gaming pioneer Bill Budge at the DICE Summit.
Budge received the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences’ second annual Pioneer Award last week for his groundbreaking work on Pinball Construction Set, the first game built around user-generated levels. I profiled Budge when the award was announced, and interviewed him on stage at the summit.
Our half hour talk begins with an introduction from Electronic Arts veteran Bing Gordon and covers the highlights of Budge’s career, from EA to 3DO to Google.
