Level-5 has shipped 11.5 million Professor Layton games worldwide, the company said late Thursday.
That massive number accounts for all four DS titles, according to the developer's official website (Japanese, via Andriasang). Level-5 will show off the series' upcoming 3DS installment, Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle, over the weekend in a live streaming event on its website (February 24, from 7pm - 9pm Tokyo time).
Level-5 and Nintendo have already localized Curious Village, Diabolical Box and Unwound Future for Europe and the United States, but we've yet to hear word about the series' fourth installment, Professor Layton and the Specter's Flute.
Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle will launch in Japan next week alongside the Nintendo 3DS.
