The Space Shuttle Discovery will be taking its final journey this Thursday (barring the need to call it out of mothballs in the future to divert a marauding asteroid). I love to watch space launches, but where I work I can't pop the TV on, so listening is my only alternative. Luckily, there's SomaFM's Mission Control, an Internet Radio channel that will play a mix of ambient tunes (just the right mellow vibe for exploring space) as well as the live audio feed from NASA. It's kind of like watching real space adventure with a classic Vangelis soundtrack to back it.
