Attention, all dinosaur loving Tweeps in the New York City area. This Thursday, March 3, the American Museum of Natural History is giving a limited number of @AMNH followers a chance to go behind the scenes in a special after-hours tour of the museum's fossil halls. The tour will include:
- Meeting with AMNH Paleontologists
- A behind-the-scenes look at how fossils are stored
- A sneak preview of The World’s Largest Dinosaurs exhibit
- Beer and Wine will be served
The World’s Largest Dinosaurs will take visitors through the anatomy of super-sized sauropods that lived 140 Million years ago. The exhibit will open on April 16th 2011 and run through January 2 2012.
