Attention, all dinosaur loving Tweeps in the New York City area. This Thursday, March 3, the American Museum of Natural History is giving a limited number of @AMNH followers a chance to go behind the scenes in a special after-hours tour of the museum's fossil halls. The tour will include:

  • Meeting with AMNH Paleontologists
  • A behind-the-scenes look at how fossils are stored
  • A sneak preview of The World’s Largest Dinosaurs exhibit
  • Beer and Wine will be served

The World’s Largest Dinosaurs will take visitors through the anatomy of super-sized sauropods that lived 140 Million years ago. The exhibit will open on April 16th 2011 and run through January 2 2012.

So how do you get on this exclusive list of leet dinosaur fans? Easy go to The AMNH Dinosaur Tweetup Page and apply. Each person attending must fill out an application and you must be 21 years or older to apply. This would make a great geek-parent date night, for sure.
