Later next week, somewhere in America, the door will open for the Underworld Ring of Dishonor. This is an exclusive organization only for those willing to live by our code of dishonor. The induction ceremony will be held there, wherever and whenever "there" is.

In the February issue of Wired, nine codes used by people living below the law were hidden. One of them, the Chinese language of Nu Shu, was revealed in a puzzle. Then eight more were revealed, each with its own comprehension test: code #1, code #2, code #3, code #4, code #5, code #6, code #7, and code #8. (If you've looked at code #4 before, you may wish to look at the updated version.)

Today, we reveal to all potential Ring of Dishonor members how to get in the door to the underworld. But of course, we will not just post the location and the date. Instead, we give you this method of gaining that information. When you figure out what to do with it, e-mail one of the Ring of Dishonor's charter members at ???.?.????@wired.com (with the question marks replaced by his or her name) and you will get an invitation. Whether you accept the invitation will then be up to you.
