Tonight the door opens for the Ring of Dishonor induction ceremony. Some public discussion has revealed most of the answers, including the identity of the host city of San Francisco and the email accounts necessary to gain admittance. So we expect to see those of you who can reach the door.

At the event, we will induct five people as charter members of the Ring of Dishonor, each gaining the very rare charter member rings. And tonight, at approximately 6:30 pm PDT, we will run a similar induction exam on this site. One member will be inducted through the online exam, gaining a ring that matches those at the ceremony. We will reveal the charter members later in the week.

As mentioned in the invitation, at this gathering we will also celebrate the release of the book Kingpin: How One Hacker Took Over the Billion-Dollar Cybercrime Underground by Wired senior editor Kevin Poulsen. The dangerous union between crack puzzle solvers and computer crackers will be fascinating to see.

So stay tuned to this site later tonight. The Ring of Dishonor awaits you.
