The faux documentary presents grainy video that “has not been altered or enhanced” to energize its story about a secret 1970 NASA space mission. It’s The Blair Witch Project meets Moon as the trapped astronauts make terrifying discoveries on the lunar surface.
The movie was shot by Spanish director Gonzalo López-Gallego with a script by first-time feature writer Brian Miller. Russian action master Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted) produced.
Apollo 18 opens April 22.
