Nintendo may be launching 3DS later in the U.S. than everywhere else, but America will get a larger lineup of day one games.
Three games from Nintendo itself will be available on March 27 when the 3DS drops: Nintendogs + Cats, Pilotwings Resort and Steel Diver, the company said Tuesday.
These games will be sold at $40 each, or $10 more than Nintendo's games for the current DS model.
Other Nintendo-published games slated for 2011 include The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Star Fox 64 3D, Kid Icarus: Uprising and Mario Kart.
In addition to the first-party games, Nintendo said the following games would be available on day one from third-party software publishers:
Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition (Capcom)
Madden NFL Football (EA Sports)
The Sims 3 (Electronic Arts)
Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 3D (Konami)
LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars (LucasArts)
Ridge Racer 3D (Namco Bandai)
Super Monkey Ball 3D (Sega)

Samurai Warriors Chronicles (Tecmo Koei)
Asphalt 3D (Ubisoft)
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Shadow Wars (Ubisoft)
Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs 3D (Ubisoft)

That means that the games that will launch between March 27 and the E3 Expo on June 7 are:
