I remember sitting in chemistry class, overwhelmed by the table of elements (note: I am not a science geek). But this? This would have at least made me sit up and pay attention! The University of Nottingham has created The Periodic Table of Videos featuring a professor who explains each element in an understandable manner (and check that hair - it's perfect!). The best part, though? Many of the elements are demonstrated physically. Why yes, that does mean an explosion or two. You can check out hydrogen in action in the video above, but don't stop there.
