Judging from the new Spider-Man picture released Thursday by Sony Pictures, it looks like another brooding superhero movie is coming down the pike. Andrew Garfield, the 27-year-old actor who won the role last spring, is seen here suited up in the Spidey suit worn in three previous films by Tobey Maguire.
Garfield took on the role of Spider-Man after completing work on The Social Network, in which he played Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin. Director Marc Webb ((500) Days of Summer) cast Garfield from a field of contenders that included Kick-Ass star Aaron Johnson, Jamie Bell and Alden Ehrenreich (Tetro).
