The Great Pacific Garbage Patch is a huge mass of plastic debris floating in the Pacific Ocean. This weeks challenge aims to keep some plastic bottles from making their way to this Pacific Plastic Vortex.
The challenge is to take a plastic bottle or juice container and make something out of it. It can be something useful or something decorative. Make sure to involve the kids, this is a good time to discuss recycling, reusing and remaking as a way to reduce our impact on the environment.
