In the February issue of Wired, you will be exposed to many aspects of the underworld. For those willing to take the plunge, infamy awaits. Wired and Lone Shark Games offer admittance to a secret society, if you prove how deep into the underworld you are willing to go.
Throughout the issue, both in print and on the iPad, nine secret languages demand to be deciphered. There is an entrance point in an obvious place in the magazine that will clue you in to the identity of the eight other secret languages. For each of them, find its hiding place in the magazine and learn its arcane argot. Then, on the Decode site and in the iPad issue, you will be tested in your knowledge of these languages. Each day in Decoder Ring, we will post the details of another language. All are currently available on the iPad. The entire set of languages, as they are revealed, can be seen by clicking the UnderworldCode tag.
Finding the answers may lead you to an email address. Sending a message to that email address at the appropriate time may gain you access to hidden messages and communiques. Ultimately, the best solvers will gain admittance to the Ring of Dishonor.
