Okamiden, the Nintendo DS sequel to the cult hit PlayStation 2 and Wii action adventure, will launch in the U.S. on March 15, Capcom said Tuesday.
Released on September 30 in Japan, the cel-shaded Zelda-style game in which you play as an adorable tiny wolf god has racked up some quite positive impressions in its home territory. I've played the Tokyo Game Show demo and had a great time – not only are the graphics of the high quality you'd expect, but the camera and play controls felt great. I was also impressed with just how cute the main character is.
If March is too long for you to wait, you can mess around with the Facebook app now. Much like how Chibiterasu uses the Celestial Brush to fix the world's problems, so too can you paint sumi-e strokes on your Facebook photos and bring cheer to your friends list. A contest running through January will award prizes like a copy of Okamiden and a Nintendo 3DS to the best face-painter.
