Art-pop band Klaxons' new video for "Twin Flames" is a subversive CGI orgy of mutant sex and FX. The promo reel for the latest single from Surfing the Void shows band members and multiracial schoolgirls morphing into one another in an ecstatic phantasmagoria that might be the opposite of sexy, depending on which side of the sensual divide you reside.

The "Twin Flames" video, which debuted Friday, isn't as hard-core as Massive Attack's 2009 video for "Paradise Circus," which recombined the creepy pornographic classic The Devil in Miss Jones. But director Saam Farahmand, who previously helmed visually intriguing clips for artists as different as Simian Mobile Disco and Janet Jackson, has definitely produced something shocking.

"Farahmand has taken what stems from an innocent discussion regards the meaning of the song and turned it into a visual playground," Klaxons said in a press release. "His finest work to date."
