Deadpool, the riotously anti-heroic mercenary with a mouth, aligns himself with the bloodthirsty undead infesting the Marvel Comics universe in Deadpool No. 30, due Dec. 22.

Click through the first-look gallery above for a gory glimpse at writer Daniel Way and artist Bong Dazo's nasty romp through Marvel's overarching “Curse of the Mutants” storyline. It starts, conveniently enough, with the graceless Deadpool pulling up his pants, and ends in a bloody mess at a chapel. You can let your imagination fill in the rest, or pick up Deadpool No. 30 three days before Christmas and stuff it in your stocking.
