Chewbacca goes nuts in the new fan poster Attack Position, the latest in a series of limited-edition Star Wars prints produced by Alamo Drafthouse's Mondo gallery.

Before creating the work, artist Rich Kelly rewatched the original trilogy and noticed "Chewbacca was basically used for comic relief with Han."

"Even during some of the battle scenes he seems to be fumbling around a bit," Kelly elaborated in a statement. "As a kid, I definitely remember thinking of him as a major force to be reckoned with. Therefore, I decided to depict Chewie as one bad dude; kicking ass and taking names. Endor came to mind as an appropriate environment, with Chewbacca gliding down a fallen tree, about to attack a couple of unsuspecting stormtroopers."

The 24-by-36-inch poster, priced at $50, goes on sale Friday in a 400-print edition via the Mondo website. Watch the Mondo Twitter account for sale time.
