If you're anything like me, since the end of the rebooted Battlestar Galactica the world just hasn't quite been the same. For a while there, I experienced a heightened kind of television viewing, where--as in my childhood--I was completely, utterly, emotionally invested. But with the (somewhat disappointing, IMO) conclusion, and the spinoff Caprica, I've still been wanting more.
Well, there is good news. If, like me, you want to know more about just how the great Bill Adama came to be, get this:SyFy has just greenlit a new prequel, called Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chromefeaturing a 20-something Bill Adama. The pilot will be two hours long. From the press release:
