First Look: Iron Man Faces Cyborg Hell in Rapture

The Golden Avenger descends into some sort of cyborg hell in upcoming comic book series Iron Man: The Rapture by writer Alexander Irvine and penciler Lan Medina.

Here's the storyline in a nutshell from Marvel Comics: "When a devastating heart attack pushes Tony Stark to the brink of death, he decides to build his greatest invention yet. Witness the debut of Stark 2.0, the most advanced fusion of man and machine the world has ever seen. Things take a turn for the worse, though, when the Stark 2.0 entity begins a mad campaign to rework the world in its own image."

The first issue of the Iron Man: The Rapture limited series, published under the mature-themed Marvel Knights imprint, hits stores Nov. 3 for $4.
