Rockstar Games released the first, zombie-laden images from the latest expansion to Red Dead Redemption this week.

The "Undead Nightmare" DLC, due out this fall, will deliver a brand new single-player story that tasks John Marston with curing a zombie outbreak. Rockstar promises that the expansion will also bring with it multiplayer modes (Horde, anyone?), weapons and a new secret location.

Red Dead Redemption is a an open-world Western for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 from the creators of Grand Theft Auto. The game was released this May to critical raves and went on to sell like the proverbial hotcakes.

Undead Nightmare will be available via PlayStation Network and Xbox Live for $10.
