Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler has recorded a space ballad for upcoming Japanese sci-fi movie, Space Battleship Yamato. You can hear a bit of "Love Lives" in the awesomely captioned film trailer above.
The live-action movie is based on the Space Battleship Yamato anime series, which was released as Star Blazers in North America and Australia. The story revolves around a human effort to save Earth after a devastating alien attack.
Space Battleship Yamato opens Dec. 1 in Japan.
