Some of you were quite clever, offering references to Magritte and jokes about exercise balls and hatching eggs. The clever folks, however, forgot that anatomical double entendres trump all other humor. Always. At least among our readers. And so the winning caption is:

"The French finally found their balls, but still don't know how to use them."

That came from Mark, who gets a large side of freedom fries for his effort. Unfortunately, Mark didn't leave an email address and so gets to an enjoy a virtual side of freedom fries.

And the most popular caption that's traceable to its owner?

"Screw the Popemobile. Introducing Jesuscar! Who needs to be infallible when you can walk on water?"

That came from Ken, who will receive a prize of our choosing in addition to 50 years in purgatory, a place we imagine must feel a lot like the waiting room at a Citroën repair shop.

Finally, for all those Francophobes out there, this photo isn't from some bizarre exhibit at the Centre Pompidou. It's from a Dutch collection of reinvented Citroëns, organized by the Citroën ID/DS Club Nederland. You can view the whole collection of cars minus door panels, cars launching into the air and even half-cars here.
