Adidas is countering Nike's Just Do It slogan with a viral campaign that might be tagged "Just Blow Yourself Up." In a bid to hype its Star Wars Collection clothing line, the sportswear company invites internet users to virtually destroy neighborhoods with a Google Earth-powered Death Star.

Here's how it works. The Adidas Death Star site opens with word of a "new alliance" led by Darth Vader. To get the explosion party going, click on Target a Friend and type in your name, e-mail and any street address you like.

The deep-breathing Sith lord orders the hit and the targeted street appears on the screen. A death ray shoots through the galaxy, headed toward the Google Earth map surrounding the doomed location, blasting the region and leaving a distinctive calling card.

A previous Adidas/Star Wars mashup remixed the Mos Eisley cantina scene, plopping soccer players and musicians inside the notorious watering hole for space scum.
