Star Wars Uncut, the crowdsourced version of the sci-fi classic that was made by stitching together hundreds of fan-submitted scenes, is 100 percent finished, according to the project’s website.
“I’m thrilled to release ‘The Escape,’ a teaser from the finished Star Wars Uncut: A New Hope movie,” writes organizer Casey Pugh on the project’s Vimeo page. “Hundreds of 15-second scenes were put back together in a finished film…. We’ll be screening the entire Star Wars Uncut: A New Hope in Copenhagen at CPH:PIX Festival April 19 and have several screenings in NYC in the works.”
