StarCraft II has run afoul of South Korean censors.
The Korea Times reports that StarCraft II received an 18-and-up rating from the South Korean government's Game Rating Board.
StarCraft II is a forthcoming real-time strategy game sequel from Activision Blizzard. The original was a worldwide hit that found particular traction in South Korea, where it was central to the explosion of PC bang gaming centers in the '90s. Professional StarCraft competitions remain popular in South Korea to this day.
The South Korean division of Blizzard Entertainment has the opportunity to adjust the highly anticipated game's content, a move that could delay the release, or could challenge the board's decision. Blizzard recently said StarCraft II would come out in the first half of 2010.
