Anyone looking for weight-loss motivation could do worse than watching Feeder. From the looks of this trailer, the short film – shot entirely from inside a the dark confines of a hungry mouth – serves up a buffet of disgusting imagery.

You would expect nothing more from a cinematic creation with the tagline "a short film that will make you feel sick."

"Feeder was shot on a microcamera and stabilizer especially designed and created for the making of this film," according to the short's press release. "The camera slots into the back of the mouth, up against the esophagus. It captures at a rate of 7 frames per second, which is transmitted to a remote hard drive. The footage was then sped up in the edit."

Director Joseph Ernst's short, which probably turned a few stomachs at Slamdance, will screen as part of the experimental shorts block at the South by Southwest Film Conference and Festival in Austin, Texas, this March.
