Quick! Which blockbuster is going to pop the most eyeballs in 2010? If you said Tron Legacy, you can probably give yourself a pat on the back.
A new poster image circulated Friday by Disney adds firepower to the contention that the sequel to its 1982 sci-fi gamer fantasy could be the blockbuster of the year, especially if the Iron Man sequel underwhelms due to Mickey Rourke’s low-tech Whiplash outfit and Scarlett Johansson’s corny poses. No matter what, Tron Legacy ‘s light cycles look like they’ll dazzle brains silly in 2010.
Just check out that ride, pictured above and in the visual effects test footage below. It’s a fetishistic, futuristic merge of art, design and velocity, one that could give Tony Stark’s various armors a run for their repulsors.
