A stiff and nerdy Barack Obama auditions for the next Harry Potter movie in a new web video from Electric Spoofaloo.
The quick clip, “Celebrity Auditions: Harry Potter” (embedded above), effectively mixes political satire and teen wizard in-jokes, showing a low-key president dependent on a teleprompter and outlining his war against Lord Voldemort.
The role of the president is played by actor Iman Crosson, aka Alphacat, an Obama impersonator who gives Tina Fey’s hilarious riffs on Sarah Palin a run for their money. Alphacat’s previous parodies, including “Obama Does ‘Thriller’,” have racked up millions of YouTube views.
