Sony added a new multiplayer game called Sodium One to its PlayStation 3 virtual worldon Thursday.
The new online game space in PlayStation Home melds the aesthetic of Burning Man with vehicular combat. A variety of mini-games give players the chance to play bartender at a post-apocalyptic rave and stomp on scorpions.
Lucky Home residents can nab the full version of the vehicular combat game Salt Shooter for free, if they act quickly. Players who log in to Sodium One between December 13 and December 23 and interact with the character "Vickie" will unlock the full game, which offers fifty levels of experience gain and detailed hovertank customization.
I'll file a report from the deserts of Sodium One once I'm back in front of my PS3 next week.
