Puppets invade Manhattan this month as the mechanized critters, fresh from their appearances in Wes Anderson's stop-motion movie The Fantastic Mr. Fox, take up residence in the windows of the Bergdorf Goodman men's store just in time for the holidays.

The film's characters were crafted by British production company Mackinnon & Saunders, which previously made characters for Tim Burton's Corpse Bride and Mars Attacks.

"Working on the [Fantastic Mr. Fox] project has been a great pleasure and we are pleased to see our work showcased in New York at Bergdorf Goodman," said the company's co-founding puppet master Peter Saunders. Mackinnon & Saunders' handiwork can also be seen through April 26 at the Tim Burton retrospective at New York's Museum of Modern Art.
