Now that David Tennant's Doctor left the animated "Dreamland" behind, he's closing in on his final adventure in "The End of Time."

Christmas Day is less than three weeks away, and the BBC is slowly peeling the wrapping paper from every Doctor Who fan's most eagerly awaited holiday gift. There's the new sneak peek (above), episode stills and other previews slowly creeping out of the United Kingdom. A close look at the various trailers reveals some spoilers. The Master (played by John Simm), Doctor Who's archfiend, is now a burned mass of tissue held together by a metal exoskeleton and shrouded in what appears to be a holographic illusion of flesh.

And, if you look closely in the background of some shots, you'll see computer monitors showing the Seal of the Time Lords – hinting that The Doctor's ancient race is not as extinct as everyone thought.

Meanwhile, clever people can now catch Tennant's final animated adventure, "Dreamland," online – regardless of whether you catch it on the official iPlayer or less than legally. (Cough – YouTube – cough.)
