Color blind Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 players are asking Infinity Ward to address issues that make the game difficult to play for people who have a hard time discerning the colors red and green.

As noted in the petition, eight percent of males and .5 percent of females suffer from color blindness. The condition can be particularly problematic when video games use colors to code different gameplay elements. In Modern Warfare 2, enemies are distinguished from allies by way of red- and green-colored nameplates and radar blips.

Petitioners are asking for a menu option that will allow them to swap the color scheme to an easier-to-see orange and blue.
