We're only two weeks away from the charity event of the year. Are you ready?
On December 9, we're rocking San Francisco's face with Ümloud!, a Rock Band night to support the good people at Child's Play Charity. We're going to get up on stage at DNA Lounge and pretend that we are real live rock stars. There will be a fully awesome Rock Band 2 setup courtesy of Harmonix, a prize drawing with rare epic loot, and more.
If you're in the Bay Area, you have zero excuse for missing this all-ages event.
The Ümloud! team is working hard to put the show together, and here's what we've got lined up so far.
- Over 1000 Rock Band 2 songs. If it's in the game, it's at Ümloud! That includes Lego Rock Band, track packs, DLC, everything.
- Play on DNA Lounge's main stage. We've completely sold out of Ultimate Band packages, but you can still play as a Standard Band, on DNA Lounge's main stage in front of a group of screaming fans.
- Win prizes. Ümloud! is a free event with a suggested donation of $10. Everyone who comes through the door will get raffle tickets that will give you the chance to take home things like a Scribblenauts hat, Marvel vs. Capcom vinyl, and much much more.
- Silent auction. We'll have some amazing limited edition swag for auction that we'll announce later. You'll need money, not luck, to get these. It's all for a great cause.
- Play Rock Band 2 for free upstairs. If you don't want to pay to play, you can rock out in the upstairs lounge instead.
- Mexican food.
