When Star Wars met Lego 10 years ago, it seemed like just another licensing deal in Lucasfilm's endless chain of merchandising. But, the marriage produced an entire pocket universe all its own where humor trumps tragedy and no one dies. They just fall apart until you put them together again.
A new book from DK Publishing, Lego Star Wars: The Visual Dictionary (pictured), celebrates the 10th anniversary with a detailed look at the entire product line and all its spinoffs – including the massively popular videogames.
Now, a lucky Wired.com reader will win a gift pack celebrating the book's release (and its climb to No. 1 on the New York Times nonfiction best-seller list. It's a potpourri of goodies including a Lego Star Wars T-shirt (XXL), buttons, stickers and postcards.
Just leave a comment below and one winner will be chosen via random number generator. We'll piece together the e-mail of the winning entrant. The contest wraps up at 12:01 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 10.
